At the heart of Pepper Helms’ mortgage business with Affinity is a simple belief: home is where life happens, and everyone deserves a clear path to get there. Pepper brings a personal, down-to-earth approach to lending, building genuine relationships and walking alongside clients through every step of the process. She brings a wealth of real estate expertise to the mortgage industry, leveraging her experience as a real estate agent. Coupled with her responsiveness, honesty, and care, Pepper makes what can feel overwhelming surprisingly simple—and even enjoyable.

Pepper is a Georgia native with an accounting degree from Auburn. She was able to utilize her education to operate her husband’s software business for 20 years while simultaneously being a full-time mom. After her husband’s death in 2013, Pepper worked as a Finance Director for several years for a non-profit organization in Houston, Texas. Upon moving back to the Atlanta area, she then transitioned her financial skills into the mortgage and real estate industry where she truly enjoys sharing in her client’s wins.

Other than work, you can usually find Pepper tailgating at college football games, antiquing, home improvement, mentoring, and spending as much time as possible with her three adult children and her grandson, Dutton. Still an avid Auburn fan, she continues to love and endure all her UGA fan friends!
