Raised in Kennesaw, Georgia, Garrett attended Sprayberry High School before heading out of state to play football at Morehead State University in Morehead, Kentucky. After graduation, he moved back to his home state and now resides in Woodstock with his wife, Ashley, and their two children, Reagan (5) and JJ (3). On the weekends, Garrett can be found spending time with family and friends, relaxing at the pool, attending Woodstock City Church, watching Atlanta sports, or cooking on the Big Green Egg.

Professionally, Garrett has spent the last 12 years in local Credit Unions, where he held the title of Assistant Vice President of Lending at Credit Union of Georgia (Woodstock, GA). There he served the lending needs of students, educators, as well as residents of Cobb, Cherokee, Paulding, Bartow, and Pickens counties. “The Credit Union philosophy has always been: People Helping People. Whether I was a presenter at a first time home buyer seminar or educating a borrower on ways they could improve their credit score, I loved to engage the community. I strive to build strong relationships and become a trusted advisor.”

Garrett now joins Affinity Home Lending as a Loan Officer. “I am extremely excited to join such an experienced team of respected lenders here at Affinity Home Lending. I’ll have the opportunity to continue to do what I love and engage my community while offering a superior experience that most lenders cannot.
