As a licensed mortgage loan officer in GA, NC, MD, and VA, he is dedicated to making the home financing process smooth, transparent, and stress-free, especially for millennials and first-time homebuyers.
As a former standout football player at NC State, and the only mathematics major on the team, Art led the Wolfpack defense in sacks every year played and left ranked top 3 all-time sack-leaders in school history. That same drive, discipline, and team mentality fuels his commitment to helping clients navigate the mortgage process with confidence.
After football, he built a diverse professional background in accounting, finance, and pricing before finding his true calling in mortgage lending. As a former Pricing Analyst with 7+ years of experience in data-driven decision-making, he’s built a strong foundation in financial analysis, strategic pricing, and market research. Art’s career has always revolved around numbers—but more importantly, how those numbers impact people’s lives. Now, as a Mortgage Loan Officer at Affinity Home Lending, He’s using the same analytical mindset to help individuals and families navigate one of the biggest financial decisions of their lives: homeownership.
As he powers through his career, picking up different impactful skills along the way, Art has traveled internationally over 25 times. He’s also moved from Raleigh to Baltimore, to Atlanta, Alexandria, and ultimately back to Atlanta. Moving around the southeast coast allows Art to be familiar with a lot of the areas, personally, in the states that he’s licensed in.
When he’s not helping first-time homebuyers, realtors, and investors, Art enjoys listening to music, cooking, thriller movies and series, trying new things and restaurants, and physical activities such as hiking, biking, walking, and working out. Art also has a big passion for giving back to the community via his nonprofit that focuses on subsidizing underfunded elementary and middle schools in the southeast region.
